Home to about seven thousand species of plants, and an equally staggering measure of fauna, the landscape of Orissa is one of the richest bio-diversities in Southeast Asia. The naturally vigorous growth accounts for a tremendous wealth of biodiversity, resulting in many catalogues of wild plant and animal species that dwell within. While exploring the forests of Sundargarh, Sambalpur and Kiriburu, I witnessed this magnificent biota.
